June

Tuesday 2 – Mapping the Movement Australia’s Community Gardens Revealed (Online) – a webinar with researchers from Griffith University as they share early insights from an exciting national project mapping community gardens across the country. 

Friday 29 May – Sunday 7 June – Fungi The Festival (Various locations, North & North East) – Mushroom foraging, workshops, fungi-inspired dining and sustainability-focused events celebrating ecology, food and creativity.

Monday 15 – Thursday 18 – Hospitality Bootcamp #4 (Huonville, South) – a fee-free Hospitality Bootcamp, proudly delivered by Southern Employment and Training Network in partnership with TasTAFE and Select Safety.

Sunday 21 – Garden and Gossip (Lower Snug, South) – a volunteer community gardening session at Earthenry Flower Farm.

Wednesday 24 – Bark Canoes and Huts with Dean Greeno (Inveresk, North) – A FREE community event open to everyone and offering a chance to take part in hands-on crafting activities while learning about Aboriginal culture and storytelling.

Wednesday 24 – Dude’s Day (East Devonport) – Free lunch and optional Health PitStop at East Devonport Community House.

Thursday 25 – Juices, smoothies and mocktails (ages 12 – 20) (Kingston, South) – Learn how to make a delicious range of fresh and tasty drinks.
