Food Secure Tasmania unites local organisations to turn shared expertise into evidence-based action. We lead the fight against the state’s food security crisis by fostering sustainable change and high-level collaboration across Tasmania.
Originally founded in 2021 as the Food Security Coalition, we now drive a statewide movement to protect our food systems. We actively advocate to ensure food and nutrition remain a top priority for the Tasmanian Government while delivering on our mission for a resilient, well-fed state.
Our Vision is that all Tasmanians are able to eat fresh, local, and nutritious food every day.
Our Mission is that as a collective of leaders we collaborate, advocate, and empower to create a food secure Tasmania.
