Banana peel milk caramel

Make a creamy Dulce de Leche using the humble banana peel! A delicious way to eat it all in your kitchen.

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients and cook until reduced to under half. Keep stirring to stop sticking. This will take some time, go gently as it can stick to the pan and burn – this isn’t too bad though, as it will just change the depth of flavour.

  2. Blend the entire amount and push through a sieve. Will keep in the fridge for 2-3 weeks, or freeze for 6 months.
