When life gives you apples, make apple pudding! A tasty and warming serve of fruit.

Core and slice the apples to approximately 3mm thickness.

Warm the milk to 32 degrees celsius, or body temperature. Then add yeast and allow to proof for 30 minutes.

Whisk the melted butter, flour, sugar, egg, and salt into the milk.

Pour this over the sliced apples, making sure the apple slices are entirely covered.

Transfer the pudding mix to the cooking pan and allow to proof for 1 hour.

Bake on the middle shelf for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until the apple is tender and deeply browned on the surface. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
