Woodstock Orchards is situated on a north facing slope growing next to the Huon River. In this location, the cherry trees are able to enjoy the entire day spent in full sunshine. While being positive for general tree health reasons, it also means the cherries ripen more evenly.
Woodstock orchards grow a diverse variety of cherries – including specialities such as van, stella, sylvia, kordia, lapins, simone, and regina. Their earliest variety ripens in mid-December while the last variety for the season is ready to pick in late January.
