Tunnel Hill is a family-owned business located in Mt Rumney, Tasmania – a mere 15 minutes out of Hobart. The business specialises in cold-loving strains of oyster mushrooms. You can expect to see white, grey and tan oyster mushrooms, as well as the ever-hearty shiitake.

Dean at Tunnel Hill Mushrooms has developed a grow lab on site. The mushrooms themselves are grown in a historic railway tunnel from the early 1890s. Collaboration is key at Tunnel Hill Mushrooms. Not only is the site a fantastic place for growing delicious mushrooms – but it is also a memorable space for functions and events.
