At Woodlands Farm near Deloraine, this family-owned business grows and sells hemp seeds.

Their products are made using sustainable practices, with production completed within a 30 km radius from Woodlands farm. For example, the hemp seeds are either dehulled to make hemp hearts, or pressed to make hemp seed oil. Then, after the seeds are pressed, they can go through a mill to make hemp flour – now that’s local!

Since 2019, the Tassie Hemp Shop have been packaging and learning how to sell and distribute their products. They love collaborating with community, and other local producers. That’s why the Tassie Hemp Shop have been a mainstay at their farmers market communities – in Launceston and Hobart – as well as a range of local grocers.
