Foraged from Tasmania’s forests, Sherwood Hill Honey produces some of Tasmania’s finest honey.

When Bear and Nettie moved with their young family to the Huon Valley from North Queensland, they saw the potential for self-sufficiency. Upon purchasing their first two beehives, Bear fell in love with bees and beekeeping. That’s when Sherwood Hill Honey began!

Passion is reflected in their high-quality honey. Each batch is unique – wildflowers, banksias, tea-trees, blue gums, kunzeas and prickly box are among the plants foraged from.

Tasmanian Leatherwood and Manuka are also offerings at Sherwood Hill Honey. The honey produced by Bear and Nettie is raw, cold-extracted, and 100% pure.

In addition to producing honey, the family also provide nucs and hives to customers, rear queens, and mentor new beekeepers. They are passionate about connecting with others and sharing this love of bees and beekeeping.
