If you live in the Huon Valley, chances are you have heard of Scrubby Hill Farm—a community driven market garden now in its sixth year of production.
Scrubby Hill is a 2-acre plot of land located in the town of Geeveston, growing a wide variety of seasonal vegetables throughout the year.
Many hands have contributed to the farm’s growth, with a steady pool of volunteers ensuring each season’s crop. If you have an interest in growing local, organic, seasonal food, the team would love to have your help on the farm.
Fresh local produce is sold through a pre-ordered ‘Veggie Box’ on a weekly basis (order via the website). Or you could visit the farm’s ‘pop up’ shop, each Thursday between 10am and 2pm, to purchase direct from the garden.
What we produce
- Farm gate stall selling seasonal (year round).
- Veggie Box (Weekly) includes a mix of seasonal veg.
