In Spring 2016, a couple of city escapees arrived in the Huon Valley with no farming experience – but with a mighty dream.

Flash-forward a couple of years, Green Dreams is now producing an exciting array of vegetables, fruits, currants and berries on the slopes of Cradoc Hill. Free ranging chickens and ducks also traverse the land, along with the antics of an energetic Border Collie, Diesel.

This is a small, no-till, spray-free garden and orchard. Green Dreams is excited to draw insights from nature, mimicking natural ecosystems and adding more native plants into food forests. This is a place for community, for sharing experiences and connecting through food.
