41 Degrees South is an eco-certified salmon and ginseng farm near Deloraine.

This family-owned business focuses on sustainable aquaculture. Located in native bushland, salmon are grown in natural conditions, without chemicals or antibiotics. Harvested by hand and processed on site, the farm also grow ginseng. This herbal root native to China, Korea and South America. Tasmania’s seasonality makes this an ideal place to grow ginseng, with 41 Degrees South adding this to a Spice Mix and a wholesome Leatherwood Honey.

You can take a self-guided walking tour of the farm and explore the wetland areas. There is also a café on site with a range of speciality products.
